I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start "Health Zone 17". As a qualified specialist (MA) in behavior change, I myself had a history where my personal nutrition was a huge issue in my life. The subject of food/nutrition and how it played a role in the human body's ability to function and live has fascinated me for quite a while. Over the course of time, i learned more and more about it regarding to my cooking skills and physical activity and how could I apply it to my own life, so that i could lose weight and become more physically fit and healthy. I choose this proffesion so i can help others accomplish the same things i taught myself how to do when i was younger and hopefully expedite the process for them.
I have taken classes that have taught me in depth information and detail about what it is exactly that i have been practicing for so long. I have been physically active with sports and fitness for several years which inevitably pairs with nutrition. Having a younger exposure to this field has prepared me to think from a potential future client about how i will be preparing them to be active and eat according to my recomandations. I am also experienced working in restaurants which have kept around food and has helped me expand my knowledge about health activities.
