Believing that you do NOT like vegetables because they don't taste good is doing you more harm than you think.

First of all...

1. Taste can change with age:

As we age, our taste buds not only diminish in number, but also change in function. The 10,000 taste buds we are born with begin to decrease as we move into middle age. The taste buds that remain also experience a decrease in size and sensitivity, which can make you percept a taste in a different way.

2. Your lifestyle changes can have an impact on your taste.

Regarding to my personal experience, going from eating meat 4 days a week to following a vegetarian/pescatarian lifestyle, had a great impact on my taste. Suprisingly food that i used to dislike (*sushi in my case*) fascinated me with their taste trying them after changed behavior. After being aware of this fact, I started experimenting with different ingredients that i had similar approach in the past and it was no surprise that they tasted so good. So if you're looking to dig more into vegetables and enjoy them, consider reducing you meat intake.

3..Mix it up!

Have fun & Explore

When we talk about taste, here's where cooking comes to place. Taste is all about combining ingredients and different flavours to achieve different results. Vegetables will not leave you that pleasant feeling you get from eating fast food, unless you make it. I like to look at it from this perspective;

You have a very unique taste that needs to be discovered.Practically it's your job to find out what makes you feel good.

So don't get lazy in the kitchen be creative and feel authentic cuz no one can do it like you do :).

I promise, you won't regret doing this for yourself.
